Research & Development
Our Research and Development (RnD) department provides concept generation and formulation of new products based on traditional cosmetology and contemporary scientific principles. As cosmetic products need to be stable while in storage and at the time of use we created an appropriate laboratory activity which covers the stability testing of the product (thermic & physical stress e.g. extreme temperature testing, centrifugation, UV radiation), the packaging compliance testing and the evaluation of microbiological, physical or chemical alterations. As a result we are able to provide the: Date of minimum durability and PAO (Period After Opening) and ensure the final product’s safety and stability.
Production Support & Technical advices
Our experienced team offers cosmetic’s production know-how, advice and problem-solving services in order to ensure the safe transition of a new product from the laboratory to the production stage.
Cosmetic’s Legislation Services
Advice & Support services concerning the Greek, European and International legislation on cosmetic & dermacosmetic products.
Compilation of Cosmetic Dossier (according to EOF requirements).
Eco & Organic cosmetic product development
Collaboration with Certified Organizations e.g. AIAB –ICEA, COSMOS, ECOCERT in order to conform to the latest developments.
In collaboration with certified and reliable Institutes in Europe we offer:
- Physicochemical analyses of cosmetic products and component identification.
- Microbiological analyses and Challenge tests (to ensure the microbiological stability of a new product)
- Patch tests- Dermatological tests
- Efficacy tests –in vivo & in vitro testing on the effectiveness of a cosmetic product and claim substantiation, to gain consumer confidence and to ensure the success of sales in a competitive market.
- In Use Tests: Product’s efficacy and satisfaction assessment based on a panel of volunteers. This marketing tool enhances the value of a given cosmetic product and ensures the product’s competitive advantage.
